Since 2002, the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA: member of the European Acoustics Association Ε.Α.Α), organises the Panhellenic «Acoustics» conference every two years, in cooperation with Greek universities. This year’s event, the 12th Panhellenic Conference «Acoustics 2024», will be held in October 17th-19th, 2024 co-organized by the Hellenic Mediterranean University. Co-organizers of the conference are the Municipality of Rethymnon and the Region of Crete (Regional Unit of Rethymno).

The goal of the conference is to highlight the work of contemporary Greek scientists in the field of acoustics, to present the recent research results in this field, and to introduce and promote the cooperation of the scientists involved in acoustics and its applications. Additionally, the conference is targeted to those who are interested in keeping up with the recent advances in all areas of acoustics in Greece and world-wide.
