Since 2002, the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA), organises the Panhellenic Conference «Acoustics» every two years, in cooperation with Greek universities. This year’s event, the 12th Panhellenic Conference «Acoustics 2024», will be held in October 17-19, 2024 on the town of Rethymno, Greece and it is organised by the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics of the Hellenic Mediterranean University. The goal of the conference is to highlight the work of contemporary Greek scientists in the field of acoustics, to present the recent research results in this field, and to introduce and promote the cooperation of the scientists involved in acoustics and its applications. Additionally, the conference is targeted to those who are interested in keeping up with the recent advances in all areas of acoustics in Greece and world-wide.

Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit a maximum of 750-word extended abstract of their work, in which they should clearly state the aim their work and the methodology they followed, while they should additionally provide a brief summary of the relative results and conclusions.

Submitted works will be reviewed by at least two independent referees and they will be evaluated according to their significance, originality, technical content, style, clarity and relevance to the conference.

For all accepted papers, camera ready manuscripts (up to 8 pages) must be submitted. To ensure a coherent style in the proceedings, authors must use the attached template available at the end of this page. Camera-ready manuscripts will be included in the conference proceedings, provided that at least one of the authors will register and present the work. Conference proceedings will be published in electronic form.

For every paper presented in the Conference, there must be at least one author registered and every registered author may present two papers maximum.

Extended abstracts as well as the camera-ready manuscripts of the works that will be accepted for presentation must be submitted via the website https://conferencehelina2024.eventsadmin.com/Home/Welcome which is dedicated to the Conference. Authors must use their university email. When submitting the abstract to the platform you should additionally::
