The Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA) organizes the Panhellenic Conference on Acoustics on a biennial basis, a well-established scientific event for the presentation and discussion of developments in the field of acoustics in Greece. In this context, the conference “ACOUSTICS 2026” will take place from October 16 to 18, 2026, at the facilities of the International Hellenic University in Thermi, Thessaloniki. The conference is addressed to the scientific and professional community active in the various fields of acoustics and its applications, serving as a meeting point for researchers, academics, engineers, and students. Its aim is to highlight the work of Greek scientists in the field of acoustics, present recent research results, and promote scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants. Through scientific presentations and thematic sessions, the conference aspires to contribute to the advancement of research, the development of new collaborations, and the dissemination of knowledge in the broader field of acoustics.

Interested authors may submit an extended abstract of their work (up to 750 words), which should briefly include the purpose of the study, the methodology followed, a summary of results, and conclusions. The extended abstract should be written either in Greek or in English, following the format of the attached template.

The acceptance of papers to be presented at the conference will be based on the evaluation of the extended abstract. Selection criteria include originality, contribution to addressing contemporary problems in specific subfields of acoustics, and relevance to the conference topic. Abstracts submitted after the specified deadlines will not be evaluated.

For papers accepted for presentation at the conference, full papers (up to 8 pages) must be submitted. Full papers must be prepared according to the attached template. The full papers of accepted contributions will be included in the conference proceedings, provided that they are presented by at least one of the authors. The proceedings will be published in electronic format.

Each paper presented at the Conference must have at least one author registered for the Conference, and each registered author may present up to two papers.

Extended abstracts and full papers of accepted contributions must be submitted exclusively online via the conference website: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/Acoustics2026/. Authors are required to use their university email when submitting. During the submission of the abstract on the platform, the following must also be provided:

I) the title of the paper,
II) the proposed thematic areas (selected from the list below),
III) keywords (up to seven words in total), and
IV) full details of all authors (name, title/affiliation, address, e-mail, phone numbers).

The official language of the conference is Greek. However, papers may also be submitted and presented in English.
